Day One is a vertical modern painting, an abstraction on canvas by academic painter Ranko Ajdinović. It is unique and the only copy in the world as such.
The painting is large-format, and the poetics of the artwork is a reflection on the origin, or creation of the world, and the relationship between the visible and the invisible. It was executed in pastel tones and in the style of modern lyrical abstraction. It was created in 2024 and was exhibited at the exhibition at the Karas Gallery in Karlovac. The technique is acrylic on canvas stretched on professional wooden slats (Blind frame). The painting comes with an additional thin edge frame (light oak). As such, the painting is ready to be placed
